Terms of Service
The agreement governing access to Moneditor, ownership of your writing, subscriptions, acceptable use, and responsibility for published work.

1. Agreement to Terms
Moneditor is operated by Vladimir Valcourt, operating as Moneditor, at 2 Cedar Pond Drive, Warwick, RI 02886, United States. By creating an account or using Moneditor ("the Service") you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use Moneditor. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. Your Content & Ownership
You own everything you write. All manuscripts, outlines, chapters, and notes you create using Moneditor remain your exclusive intellectual property. We claim no ownership over your creative work and will never use it to train AI models. You grant us only the minimal technical licence needed to store and display your content to you within the Service.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to generate content that is illegal, harassing, or infringes third-party rights.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service at scale.
- Share account credentials or circumvent subscription limits.
- Use AI generation features to produce spam, misinformation, or synthetic review content.
5. Subscription & Billing
Moneditor offers free and paid plans billed through Stripe. Paid subscriptions renew automatically each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date via the billing portal in Settings. Prices, billing periods, and applicable taxes are shown before checkout.
Refunds. Subscription charges are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact billing@moneditor.com within 14 days.
6. AI Features & KDP Assistance
AI-generated content (including KDP listing suggestions, chapter drafts, and metadata) is provided as a writing aid. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and ensuring the accuracy and originality of any content you publish on Amazon KDP or elsewhere. Moneditor makes no guarantee that AI output complies with KDP content guidelines.
7. Service Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes to the Service at any time. We are not liable for any loss arising from temporary unavailability.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Moneditor's liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
10. Termination
You may close your account at any time from Settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your content will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email and an in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of State of Rhode Island, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
